More allotmenting

Progress is slow because the weather has been grim, Jim and I have been infected with just about every disease Henry can bring back from nursery and it is winter.

However, we are still ploughing on (pun intended).

We’ve tidied up the edge of our plot and cleared some of the waste/ rubbish away. We’ve planted a medler tree and have an ornamental cherry and a sweet almond on the way to join our growing orchard. We also have a good quantity of seeds.

No pictures, but the crocuses are already out, daffodils should follow! The rhubarb we transplanted from Uncle Keith’s seems to be enjoying the conditions.

Expect more of an update when we hit the key planting season.

Henry is, as ever, a big fan of mud and helping to dig.
